After Dash Dash/Derpy Jam, I honestly thought I was completely finished writing songs about ponies. But yesterday, I was suddenly and unexplainably stricken with an urge to write a song about Bon Bon. It was much harder to write this one, because fanon doesn't really have much set in stone for her, so I had to get a little artsy with the words. So instead of "Derpy Hooves is still my friend!" you get stuff like "An ever-willing, ever-changing force". XD

People like to explain Bon Bon's different voices by saying that she's an aspiring voice actress. That's really funny, but I took it in a bit of a different direction - she's trying to become as popular as Lyra, but she has confidence issues and keeps reinventing herself in hopes that she'll finally "strike gold" and be embraced by everyone. This song talks about her frustrations and complications in trying to discover her identity.
