Every single time the world's in trouble, we can always count on this werid alien guy who's over 900 years old to come and save the day, but what is said timelord/timepony thinking/feeling? Does he ever ever doubt himself? Is he ever afraid that there actually isn't some brilliant solution, and that he in fact can't do anything? What must it feel like, to have an entire world, home to billions, resting on your shoulders, knowing that you are the only thing between them and destruction? What would it feel like if you thought, even for a second, that you would fail?
