I feel bad for not putting out anything in a while even though I made no promises, so here you go!

I finally made something in between all the other projects I have going on, and it still took me two weeks (partly because I got sick again). I wrote this song about two weekends ago after a bout of inspiration, and while it's just a simple acoustic piece, I think it sounds pretty nice the way it is. Huge thanks and props to CG Scrambles (http://www.youtube.com/user/punkponyscrambles) for the awesome drawing!

PS. A few updates: "In Spite of You" is almost done! I'm working on the PMV now. My next priority is to make a pop punk full band version of this song ("Never Going Back") - I wrote it as an acoustic, but I can already hear how awesome it would sound full band as well!

BACKGROUND:
Sometimes it's hard growing up and/or moving on. Wouldn't it be nice to just go back to the way things were? Applejack sure felt that way working on the cherry farm in "The Last Roundup," one of my favorite episodes of the show. She wishes she could go back to Ponyville but thinks that she can't because she will have let everypony down.
