...I'm dubbing her Princess Pinkiedashicorn. Sooo, uh, this was a thing I found yesterday. Good timing too, I didn't have a video to upload for February (Obviously not including the past couple episodes of Vivcast), so this at least fills a small void. I've had a video-per-month thing going ever since last August, and although this isn't really an animation, it's stiiiiill something. Let me tell you the story of how I got this thing. So, I was wandering around the Canberra Show (An annual festival thing for us Canberrans) as a sort of last-minute thing, almost didn't come, but since I was offered a ride and I live nearby it wasn't too much of a hassle. Anyways, so at the show, checking out stalls, buying some trinkets, walking past a ton of those "HEY COME WASTE MONEY AT OUR IMPOSSIBLE-TO-WIN DUCK GAME" people (Bless their hearts, they probably hate their job), and came across a small toy-place-stall, and (As you do) I scanned for pony toys, out of habit. Of course I spotted a couple, and lo and behold, they were bootleg horse toys, and I thought it was hilarious, you know, bootleg horse toys and all. I see them a lot online, various circulating "Whoa look at how silly this bootleg pony toy looks", so likewise I took pictures, posted one to Twitter (totally a plug, check out my twitter), and almost left. Then, an epiphany, "Wait, I can actually buy one, like, and have it, one of these infamous bootleg pony toys", and realizing that, I couldn't possibly pass the opportunity up. I went and bought it, continuing on my way. After buying the thing (And the realization that it had a speaker installed), I went and tried pressing it, and, disappointingly, it didn't work. I'd figured loads of people had probably pressed the button before me, killing the batteries or frying the speaker or something. That being said, my sister tried pulling the speaker out (Which, of course, comes out as easy as it looks) and... It had one of those tab things. You know, one of those cardboard tabs in the way of the batteries so that those batteries _don't_ die out. Even though the box had a "Try me" button. Huhhh. Well, bootleg toys and all. This also means I told a little fib in the video. I implied that it came out working and all, but mentioning the small cardboard tab would've, like, messed up the flow of the video. I wanted to get into the juicy bits quickly, and all. Oh, right, small coincidental thing, I mentioned not long ago that I likely wasn't going to do another toy video for a long long while... Well that obviously didn't happen now, did it. That's about it I think, talking about the makings of the video? I believe so. One extra bonus bit (Because you made it to the bottom of the description, hurray), the bottom of the box has a bunch of warnings in different languages, and the first seven words of the English section are "Not suitable for children unfer 36 months". Fantastic.
