Trixie is trans.

Tell a 2014 Vylet Pony that they'd make an album about Trixie in the future. It would be met with disbelief. I didn't start out terribly interested in Trixie's character, but the more she was developed over the show's lifetime, I began to fall in love with her alongside Starlight. This story is focused on these primary things: Trixie's struggle with identity, her desire to be seen and recognized, her relationship with Starlight, and her place in a world that eyes her past with suspicion.

Earlier this year I came out as trans and what followed would be the most change and hardship I've ever faced in my entire life. This album has served as a space for me to analyze my thoughts and feelings during this year and has allowed me to also express the passion that I've experienced through Trixie's character. It was an honour to do this alongside my girlfriend Namii, with whom I now live, and Cabi, an old friend of mine who I reconnected with this year. I have so much more to say but that will come in time. I hope you are passionate about this project as much as I am.
