Mereb (Applejack) leads Aida (Twilight Sparkle) to the Nubian slave camp. Despite her inexperience, she takes on the mantle of leadership among the slaves including Nehebka (Fluttershy).

This song was always a weird one for the show and I had trouble filling parts of the random dance sequence in the middle. Twilight's reluctant leadership during Season 4 really helped though, I wonder how confident she'll be now that she's got her own castle. I hope they have more "road" episodes in S5 though, perhaps to the Griffins.

When I actually performed in this, we had built a "Pride Rock" ramp for our Aida to walk up during her final solo, but with the giant robe around her, we had to make sure she didn't trip and break something.
