Interestingly, some of your comments predicted this direction I'm taking, trying my hand at big band orchestrations a la Basie and Mingus. The inspirations for this number are some of the most explicit I've had since "Twilight Sparkle's Mind." After watching the most recent episode, I absolutely KNEW I had to do a sort of quirky, somewhat off-beat detective theme for Pinkie Pie. The imagery was just too irresistible! So here it is: my interpretation of Pinkie Pie's unique brand of detective work. Twilight Sparkle can also be found in the work, trying to hold together what vestiges of bona fide deductive reasoning she can. Think Jacques Clouseau meets Sherlock Holmes meets James Bond meets Hercule Poirot. The result is three parts bumbling, two parts shrewd, one part classy, but all parts Pinkie. I hope you enjoy "Pinkie Panther and the MMMysterious Rhythm."
