Diamond had never really been the kind of filly to get to know the other foals, but once she met Silver Spoon-- in the schoolyard-- she'd realized, she might be the kind of filly she wanted to know. A sort of, "I have to get to know this pony" feeling. They quickly became friends, living out their dull lives together, finding excitement together. There's never really anything to do, anyway. Might as well do anything.

Diamond looked her in the eyes and smiled, this was who she needed to spend her life with, at least for now, for now this was enough. Just these two, nopony else was worth mentioning anyway.
