Why does Pinkie grin at the end?

She gave him a great final days of his life. She is happy she was able to provide happiness for him in the darkest time in his life and it was the greatest gift she could give him. That smile he gives when he wakes up in the hospital? Its the same one Pinkie always gave him. He wouldn't want her to get sad, but smile and be happy to other ponies. Celebrate life, and be happy that he no longer has to suffer and is finally at peace.
