Link to the collab, which totally rocks : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NLYjwEWG7JE Music is Everything! This is a PMV Collab using a song from Rush, a great Prog Rock band and Prog Rock is one of my favorite genres, so I had to provide and do my best. Still addicted to using AE puppets (as I got inspired by Alan and his AE puppets in "Be Free"), I tried to make a heartfelt tribute to music, and especially rock music, by making these custom animations and scenes. The Rainbow Dash playing the Gibson Les Paul animation took a lot of time because I keyframed every frame manually XD I thought that Pinkie with the cassette player vector was very fitting to the "retro" feel of the song :3 (even though that song came on vinyl so even older) First time I animate Pinkie headbanging and I'm glad I could do that! I edited my own studio setting for Rarity playing the piano, using different sources. As for the band shot and how their guitars are hanged on them, I looked at that part in Party Pooped with Pinkie and her band as a reference xP So... there's a lot of references in these, as you can probably tell. I can't wait until somepony notices the most obvious one, then there's a very hard one, and another very very subtle one that I'm 100% sure no one will get. Also extra bonus points to anypony who would recognize the source of that piano close-up shot :P But I guess it's only for hardened otaku... For those who notice the most obvious reference, yeah that's my headcanon regarding what instruments the mane 6 would play :) It's different from the EQG movies. Rainbow Dash has got to be the lead guitarist with a Gibson Les Paul Standard, Applejack would be rythm guitar with a Fender Mustang, Fluttershy is definitely the bassist with a 3-Color Sunburst Fender Jazz Bass with a tortoiseshell pickguard (yes that detail is important), Rarity would casually use a Korg Triton Extreme (although being shown with a piano from the show here), Twilight would be main vocalist and Pinkie, as already shown in my part for the PMV Collab "Untouchable", would definitely have a yellow Rick Marotta Signature Yamaha Hipgig drum kit. Also there's one edit I made to one of the shots that is a continuation to something I already did in my part for Untouchable, I wonder if anypony will pay close attention enough to spot the edit, but whoever did, well, you rock ^^ I'm quite happy of that one. That was a long description but it's on par with what I feel for music! Thank you for reading! And brohoof as always /)
