The Seeker from University of Virginia's Whomping Wahoos protect the Snitch from the seeker of the Virginia Tech Phoenixes in order to prevent the Snitch from being caught and winning the game for Tech. UVA was behind just enough that catching the snitch would not win the game, so he was making time for his team to score.
