The 12th track from my newest album, Echoes in the Dark, Ashes is the tale of Equestria after Discord succeeded in taking over the world. He discorded the mane 6, to which Celestia and Luna retaliated with war. He won,  brought down the hierarchy, and he has brought an end to what all the peaceful pones once knew. Now, alone, broken, and afraid, this song is the perspective of one of the unfortunate bystanders who got caught up in the war, whose life was ruined, along with their families.

yea, pretty sad and dark, but that's just how it goes I guess. I'm just a fan of any ideas or "what ifs" where Equestria goes into chaos for some reason, be it Discord, Chrysalis, etc.

yes, I know the background is an actual human city, not Equestria, but that's just because I REALLY liked how this picture looked compared to other pony pics I could find.
