Greetings, Today we'll be examining the importance of having role models and how we can look up to them without losing sight of what makes us up as individuals. This episode struck home with me quite well as it was just recently that I finally absorbed these concepts in their entirety (or at least what I'm capable of seeing as their entirety for now - after all, it's always possible I'll learn more that can be added to this someday). Funny how right after I finally start to understand it, a great example appears as a way for me to share the importance of it with others, isn't it? A good side note this episode touched on is the idea of helping someone who doesn't want help. That can be a tricky subject. But I've always believed that a lot of people who are either too prideful or depressed, will not accept help either to save their egos or because they don't believe they are worth the effort. Twilight encouraged Rainbow Dash to help even though Daring Do didn't want her help. Then Rainbow was there to literally catch Daring Do as her pride was about to be her fall, which I believe is the best way to help someone who is blinded by pride. If it should be the later case with a person you know, persistence is key. Those walls you're encountering with that person are there as a test to see who is true of heart enough to be willing to break through them. This determination is where true love and friendship lies. I originally wanted to use "Happily Ever After" (the Gurren Lagann theme) as background music for this. I thought it would be fitting for the message I was trying to convey. Alas, J-Rock doesn't mesh well with my videos.
