Today I'd like to talk about the difficult balance we must attain in our attitudes and friendships as it was presented through "Top Bolt."  As well as the implications of white lies and helping your friends too much.

The issue was something similar to what we saw in "It Ain't Easy Being Breezies."  But the concept is where the similarities end.  "Top Bolt" emphasized an angle of coddling's resulting distorted world view rather than the risk of creating complacency and/or contempt as Fluttershy almost did for the Breezies.

I believe confidence needs to be earned by overcoming.  And beware of yourself if you feel you have never been challenged.  You are either not challenging yourself, or you may be the victim of a Vapor Trail in your own life.
