April 1 2013: Summit Entertainment announces the official movie adaption of 50 Shades of Grey

Summit Entertainment, the proud owner of one of the largest setbacks to feminism ever to grace the planet, is now taking its audience in a completely different direction.

50 Shades of Grey has become a worldwide phenomena, and while it is certainly culturally shocking and risque, we felt that there would be a large amount of potential male customers that would be left out from this amazing experience. With this in mind, the official movie adaption will differ slightly from the book, but not so much in that it deters from it completely, as we hold great trust in our esteemed director, Micheal Bay.

"I read about 2 pages. S***'s totally whack, yo", Bay said upon receiving the role of director. "Why aren't there aliens in this? This is ridiculous. It needs more aliens. And explosions. Oh and Bob, if I don't see lens flares in every single frame you're fired and I'm sending your hamster to Germany."

"Why does my face look like a drawing", commented Nicholas Cage, set to play the starring role of Commander Grey, leader of the Shade Squad.
