when i was a kid, i loved playing video games with fantastic stories and places and people to meet, and i'd often spend my days crafting my own stories. there was this one story i really wanted to make more than any other, though, a tale about a group of animal friends meeting and banding together to sail off into the sunset and dive into the ocean depths, defeating a leviathan and saving Cherry Blossom Island.

i never got to make the game itself, sadly, but over the past four months, i've been constantly working on making the next best thing: its soundtrack. 'opus 2', my love letter to those stories, soundtracks, and the spirit of imagination, will be releasing this friday on bandcamp, and if it's successful enough, maybe streaming platforms worldwide?? haha but yeah this is the longest and hardest i've ever worked on a cohesive musical project, and i've never been prouder of a final product. i sincerely hope you like it! see you soon~

btw this particular song mostly uses chip samples from the Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald soundtracks, as well as percussion samples from Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon and Undertale!
