--Overall Comments--

Wow.  Just wow.  I’m not sure what else I can say.  This was one of the funniest and most entertaining episodes of anything I have ever seen.  Sure, it was an over-the-top fan-pandering episode, but that’s what it’s supposed to be.  They took that concept, cranked it up to 11, yet still gave it a heart and good moral.  I don’t think there’s been an episode of MLP which kept me laughing for so long and so consistently.  And all of the fan references, shoutouts, jabs (both at the show and the fans), and background characters were thrown into this story so wonderfully, it’s hard to no appreciate what M.A. Larson and crew were able to pull off.

On top of that, we got some fantastic score in this episode as well.  From reprises of old themes, to some beautiful orchestral ones, to an absolutely jaw dropping cello / dubstep duet with Vinyl and Octavia.  I could talk for days about this episode, and still want to watch it more — but for now, let’s get to the BGM!

And happy 100th episode MLP — I never thought this show would have gone this far, nor that I would be here now doing what I’m doing!  What a great way to celebrate!
