First Impressions" / "Rarity" BGM from the movie "My Little Pony: Equestria Girls" based on the television show "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic."


Well, here we are: Equestria Girls!  I'll preface this by saying the movie surprised me.  I went in with low expectations (I never was a fan of the obvious corporate concept), and came out entertained.  It was fun, and while not amazing, it was by no means bad, or even mediocre.  Plus, the songs and BGM were all FANTASTIC and top-quality.  I'll note that if you are for some reason not a fan of "pop" music, you probably won't be thrilled with the songs in the movie.  But you've gotta admit the quality and production of them is great.

We start out with Twilight starting the new day with a not-so-good first impression, as Sunset Shimmer has posted a very unflattering video of her online.  Rarity then pulls her into a room to give her a disguise.  In the second part of this track, we get "Rarity's Theme" from the movie, which of course comes with the same fancy harpsichord as her themes in the show.

The school's taunting/laughing at Twilight is so intense, it appears in all channels and cannot be fully removed.  At 00:48, there's some random girl saying "heh heh that's hot," which in the context of the scene is pretty funny. :P
